Ronald Carroll Price, 85, of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born on June 23, 1938 in Gould, AR to the late Carroll and Juanita Morris Price. Ron, as he was known to his family and friends, was retired from Carco International and a veteran of the United State Marine Corps. He was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by a sister, Sam Clark.
He is survived by his wife Judy, of the home; daughter, Susan Fisher (Tommy) of San Antonio, TX, son, James Price (Jean) of Buda, TX; and a sister, Pat Herndon of Fort Worth, TX. He also survived by five grandchildren; Alex (Abi), Andy, Austin, Ashley and Adam Fisher, along with three great grandchildren, Hadassah Moore, Charlotte Fisher and Freya Fisher.
Memorial graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, August 28, 2023 at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Visitation will be held at Grand Avenue Baptist Church, 3900 Grand Avenue, Fort Smith, Sunday August 27th from 2-4 pm.
