Rose Marie Shelby

Rose Marie Shelby, 80, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010, at Chapel Ridge Health and Rehab. She was born September 29, 1930 in Scranton, AR to the late Henry Jacob Patton and Teresa Marie Weis Patton. She was a retired waitress from the Red Barn Steakhouse and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a son Gary Shelby.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial at National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Raymond Shelby, one daughter Donna Saldana of Milltown, AR, two sons Thomas Shelby of Hackett and Jerome Shelby of Fort Smith, two sisters Mildred Dover of Pullyalla, WA and Marcella Campbell of Greenwood, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and her extended family at Chapel Ridge Health and Rehab.

Pallbearers will be Tom Shelby, Jerome Shelby, Jasen Shelby, Joshua Shelby, Brian Saldana and Austin Saldana. Honorary pallbearers will be retired members of the Fort Smith Police Department.
