Rosemary attended Catholic Schools, including St. Scholastica Academy, and earned a degree in nursing at Westark Community College and a bachelor's degree at College of the Ozarks. After a career as a registered nurse at Sparks Regional Medical Center and Fort Smith Rehab Hospital, she retired and focused on her hobbies that included gardening, pets and travel. Rosemary was a lifetime River Valley Master Gardener and worked off and on for Sharum's Garden Center.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Charles E. Wingfield Sr., daughter Nicole DeMink Jarzambek, grandson Kyle Cutlip and great-granddaughter Rylee, all of Kalamazoo, Mich.; stepchildren, Charles Wingfield Jr. of Barling, Candae Wingfield of Fort Smith, and Susan Quintana of Katy, Texas. Surviving Thomas siblings are James Ezra Thomas (Rosemary), John Earl Thomas (Phyllis) and Thomas "Champ" Edward Thomas (Anne).
The family will hold a private graveside service.
