Ross N. Winton, 59, of Fort Smith, passed from this life December 3, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born in Fort Smith to Noble Ross Winton and Dolores Morris Winton Lawson. Ross had recently retired as owner and operator of the Jet-Away Convenience stores in Fort Smith. He was passionate about all things nature. Ross had a soft spot for all animals, even some may identify as undesirable. Fishing was Ross’ favorite pastime, when not calling the Hogs.
Ross is survived by his wife, Nikki; three daughters Madisyn and Krisha Winton and Morgan Lindsey; one grandson Grayson Lomon; his mother Dolores Lawson; a sister Diane Wynn; his mother and father in law, Joe and Juanita Kennedy and Jim and Shirley Walker; two sisters in law, Jordan Kennedy and Erin Moore and a brother in law Jimmie Walker; his best friend, just like a brother, Donnell Alston, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Noble Ross Winston, Sr.
