Ruth Ann Linn

She was born June 23, 1930 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late William Leonard Pelz and Katherine Reickel Pelz. Her family fondly referred to her as "Boots". She attended LaPorte High and Simpson College and was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Ruthie was an avid golfer and loved her gardens. She was a realtor in her 50's and loved selling property in beautiful Hot Springs Village where she and husband Chuck retired to in 1984.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 am in Fort Smith at Christ the King Catholic Church in the Little Stone Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Ft. Smith.

Ruth is preceded in death by Chuck, her husband of 59 years, and her siblings, Juanita Pelz, Katherine Prellwitz (Bob), Bill Pelz (Sally), and Jim Pelz (Elaine). She is survived by her brother Louis Pelz (Shirley) of Pearland, TX, daughter Katherine Caire (Don) of Franklin, TN, son Benjamin Linn (Sherrie) of Ft. Smith, AR and five grandchildren, Lauren, Carolyn and Kat Caire and Emily and Elijah Linn, and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to caregivers Naomi Phillips and Linda King, as well as Shari Kincaid of Mercy Hospice and Michaela Billy of Methodist Health and Rehab.
