Samuel Bowden entered into rest @ Mercy Hospice on June 25th 2011. He was born January 12 1948 in Sheffield, Alabama. He is the longtime owner/operator of Arkansas Refrigerated Services, Inc. and a leader in the refrigerated warehousing industry. He was a member of Sts. George & Alexandra Christian Orthodox Church. He loved to golf and spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be 6:30 PM Monday, June 27, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Maxwell officiating. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home following the service.
He is survived by his wife Valentina Bowden, a son Jason Nelligan, brothers James and Jeff Bowden, and two grandchildren, Samuel and Annie.
