Samuel Richard Ludington II

Samuel R. Ludington, II, 77, of Fort Smith, died April 3, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born May 22, 1936 in Fort Smith to Samuel R. Ludington, Sr and Daisy Mae Pound Ludington. He was a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Eastern Tank Services of Fort Smith. He was a member of the Arkansas Society of CPA’s, the Arkansas Society of Accountant’s, a Past Secretary Treasurer of the Arkansas/Oklahoma Rodeo Fair Board, member of Goddard United Methodist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Marines. He is survived by two daughters, Lana Underwood of Cameron, OK and Laura Graham of Conway, AR; two brothers, William “Bill” Ludington of Oakwood, Ill, and Robert Ludington of Redland, CA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth and brother, Donald Ludington. Memorial service will be Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Goddard United Methodist Church. Private entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
