I never got the opportunity to thank Sandy for being so selfless. Back in May of 1991 I suffered a horrific head injury. Sandy and her son Joe sat with my mom in the hospital waiting area while I was fighting for my life. My deepest condolences goes out to the family. May they find peace and comfort in their time of need.

My heart and prayers go out to Tia Sandy and family. I am truly sorry for your loss. I would like to offer you and your family our deepest and most sincere condolences and may the soul of Aunt Sandy rest in peace. She was a beautiful person and cared so much for everyone. I am so thankful I was able to see her when I went down for the passing of my dad who is her brother Felix Padilla. My fondest memory was when I was finally able to meet her in person after so long and give her a hug and kiss with all my heart. You will be missed Tia Sandy!! I love you Tia Sandy. 😭

My favorite memory of Ms. Sandy was how she sang so beautifully and often. She said “I sing like Jalo!” She was so fun and energetic. It has been a pleasure being in her life at the nursing home and she will always be remembered. Joe, my prayers are with you and your family in this tender time.
