Scott Matthew Van Asche

Scott Matthew Van Asche, 34, of Fayetteville, passed away July 3, 2011 near Lake Ouachita. He was born October 13, 1976 in Little Rock, AR to Christopher and Martha Morrison Van Asche. He graduated from Southside High School in 1995, and graduated from Tulane University in 2000 with a degree in Marketing and he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Martha Van Asche of Fort Smith; two sisters, Marcie and husband Clay McKinney of Fort Smith and Sarah and husband Dustin Wilson of Bentonville, AR; nieces, Lauren and Emily McKinney and Claire Wilson; and nephew, Jack Wilson. He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, William and Maxine Morrison and Paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Suzanna Van Asche.

Memorial service will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel and Private interment of cremains will be in the Oak Cemetery Columbarium. Services and Cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-7 PM and there will be Reception following the Memorial Service at the Bonneville House.
