Shirley Ann Johnson Sharp

Shirley Ann Johnson Sharp, 74 of Ft. Smith passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born April 19, 1940 in Vesta, AR to the late John and Annie Johnson. She was a Baptist, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #208 and retired from Dixie Cup. She was a great, loving aunt who will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters; Beulah Doyle, Evelyn Proska, Pearl Baggett, and Beatrice Christopher, and two brothers; Raymond and Ray Johnson.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 23, 2014 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel, officiated by Reverend Dale Phelps with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Mrs. Sharp is survived by her sister Etta V. Gabriel of Dyer, IN and her family, Rosemary, Marilyn, and Shirley Etta, her niece, Marlene Linson of Roland, OK, her nephew Thomas Christopher and his wife Sherry of Roland, OK 2) Great nephews, Jason Linson and his wife Carol of Ft. Smith and their family Brennen, Saben, and Jaelen, Chris Linson and his wife Amber of Roland, OK and their family Destiny, Landon, Brooklyn, Athena, K.J. and Hope, great niece, Amee Davis of Hackett and her son Zachary, Beulah Doyle’s family Chat and Sue, Anna Bell, Rosalie, and Patichia, sister-in-law Georgia Johnson of Ft. Smith and her family, Earl Ray, Richard, and Patricia, niece Sandy Gardner and her husband Bill of Roland, OK and their family and nephew Albert Linson and his wife Tammy of Ft. Smith.

Pallbearers will be Chris Linson, Jason Linson, Albert Linson, Kenneth Christopher, Bill Gardner, Saben Sundara, Brennen Linson, and Landon Linson.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the Methodist Nursing Home Staff and Mercy ICU and Hospice staff for their care of Shirley during this difficult time.
