Shirley Ruth Glenn Israel

Shirley Ruth Glenn Israel, 74, of Hackett, AR, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. She was born February 18, 1938 in Fort Smith to the late Hubert and Bertha Farmer Glenn. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hackett. She worked in sales with Jimmy Taylor Realtors, Muncy and Muncy Realtors and Mary Kay Cosmetics. Her profession and passion was mother to three sons, Nana to sixteen grandchildren and great grandchildren and caregiver to any family in need. She was beautiful inside and out and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert L. and Bertha Farmer Glenn and two brothers Myron Ray Glenn and H. L. Glenn. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 401 East Greenwood, in Hackett with Rev. Kevin Kilbreth officiating. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. She is survived by three sons Johnny Dale and wife Virginia Israel of San Diego, CA, Glenn Michael Israel and wife Michelle of Sevierville, TN and Shawn Bryan Israel and wife Sally of Fort Smith, one brother Utah Carl Glenn of Texas, eight grandchildren Christina Marie Saloman, Alison Ruth Israel, Jason Michael Israel, Glenn Michael Israel, Jr., Melissa Marie Israel, Kathryn Elizabeth Israel and Nash Bryan Israel and nine great grandchildren Allyssa Marie Dimmick, Jocelyn Morgan Israel, Elijah Dale Winters, Michael Rock Hahn, Tristen Ross Winters, Samuel Shad Winters, Thomas Eugine Winters, Peyton Elizabeth Israel and Felicity Lynn Israel Pallbearers will be Ronnie McBride, Danny McBride, Paul Irving, Al Dobbs, Louie Kirkendall and Joe Silva.
