

Thomas Keith Tally, of Van Buren, passed from this life August 14, 2017 in Fort Smith. Tommy was born, in Wynne, Arkansas, to the late Tom Tally and Wilma Cooper Tally. Tommy was a graduate of Roland High School, class of 1973, where he was an all-conference in football and basketball. Tommy loved life, family, friends and fishing. He was a very likable man of wit, always willing to lend a hand and always smiling and laughing. Tommy was a Christian and told family he was ready to go to Heaven when his Heavenly Father called. Tommy was a retired farmer. He loved farming, working cattle and being with his friends, Lonnie Younger and Philip Hogan, who were more like brothers at the Fort Smith Stockyards. Most of all, Tommy loved his wife Karen, his kids and grandkids and helping his mother.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Karen Woolever Tally; three sons, Kent Tally and Zachary Tally and companion Jeff, all of Fort Smith and David Maxwell of Roland; two daughters, Kimberly Konkle of Fort Smith and Amanda Woolever of Mountain View, California; three grandsons, Mathew and Jamison Walker of Fort Smith and Dakota Konkle of Fort Smith; his mother, Wilma Tally of Roland, as well as his brother, Phil Tally and his wife Linda of Roland. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Tom Tally, in 2015.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 18, 2017 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Roland City Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
