Thomas Oliver Wade

Thomas Oliver Wade, 83 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, August 02, 2012. He was born December 1, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herman and Roberta Wade. He was an Episcopalian. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and an Engineer at Baldor Electric. He was an aerospace engineer for 35 years, a member of I.E.E.E. and earned his black belt in Taekwondo at the age of 74. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Lindale Wade.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Judy of the home, daughter Sherisa Sterling of Boston, MA, stepdaughter Jennifer Haggans and her husband Eric of Ft. Smith; son Phillip Wade and his wife Naomi of Seward, AK and five grandchildren: Quin Wade of Seward, AK, Brett Gregory, Krysten Gregory, and Bethany Parrish all of Fort Smith, and Ryan Parrish of Van Buren.
