Travis Eugene Huggins, 59, of Fort Smith passed from this life February 6, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born March 30, 1962 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Euless Huggins, Jr and Margie Cowan Huggins. Eugene farmed most of his life, but was very active with volunteer fire departments in Hackett, Mena and Nella, Arkansas. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Eugene is survived by his wife Carroll; Carroll’s children, Tracy Duty, Trinity Bardin, Jonathan Reese and Angela Collins; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and a very special care giver Samantha Berryhill. He was preceded in death by his parents and Carroll’s son, David Reese.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Smith. Burial will follow at Oak Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
