Valeria Frances DeLong

Valeria Frances DeLong, 76 of Fort Smith died Monday, January 2, 2012 in a Fort Smith Hospital. She was born February 14, 1935 in Fort Smith. She was retired from Dixie Cup where she worked for over 40 years and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Valeria was a selfless, caring and devoted wife and mother who will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 4th at Fentress Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 5th at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

Valeria is survived by her husband Richard S. DeLong; a daughter Donna Brown of Muldrow, OK; two sons Mike DeLong of Sherman, TX and Pat DeLong of Hernando, MS; six grandchildren; Jeremy and Joshua Brown, Brenna and Brice DeLong, and Crystal Williams and Richard A. DeLong.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Brown, Jeremy Brown, Joshua Brown, Brice DeLong, Richard A. DeLong, Marty Hoyt, Zachary Hoyt, and Justin Hoyt.
