

Victor Manchaca, 90, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. He was born June 10, 1920 in Nacogdoches, TX to the late Jim and Nettie Manchaca. He was a retired watch maker from Hunt’s Department Store, member of First United Methodist Church, member of the First United Methodist Church Dart Team for several years and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. He was an Army Veteran of World War II where he served in Central Europe and Rhineland.
Funeral service will be 12:30 PM Monday, June 14, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Thompson and Rev. William A. Cheyne officiating. Burial will be at National Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Freda, two daughters Debbie Gregg of Conway, AR and Vickey Boozman of Cave Springs, AR, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brooks, Jim Caudle, Steve Caudle, Brian Gregg, Blake Martindale and Greg Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Goodman and Mark Goodman.
