Vivian West Baker

Vivian West Baker, 73, of Fort Smith, was called to her Heavenly Home Monday, November 4th, 2013. Vivian was born January 9th, 1940 in Fort Smith to the late Harold and Frances West. She grew up in Fort Smith. She married Robert Baker in 1957 and they made their home in Kansas City, MO before moving to Fort Smith, AR in 1965. She worked for FedEx for many years, she became an artist and traveled selling her art work and she was the owner of a Bridal Shop. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Buren, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Baker. Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 8th, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Williamson officiating. Memorial Service and cremation will be under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her son Bryan Baker of Fort Smith, AR, daughter Carrie Beth Baker and husband Shawn Young of Fort Smith, sister Marcia West Wheat of Rudy, AR, brother Claude West and wife Debbie of Greenwood, AR, uncle and aunt Jack and Cynthia Stokes of Kansas City, MO, three grandchildren Brittany Land of the home, Shawn and Katelyn Young of Fort Smith, AR and many nieces and nephews.
