

Wanda Jean Thompson, 86 of Fort Smith, AR. passed away on November 21, 2022. She was born to the late Monroe Arthur & Mary Yother-Dobbins on January 5, 1936. She grew up in Denning, AR. with her five siblings. She attended Harvest Time Tabernacle. With her husband Gaylord (guy) Thompson they owned and operated Arkansas Tree Service, Texaco Service Station and Past Time café and retired from Planters Peanuts. She spent her time with loved ones,and worked in her flower garden. She loved listening to music, singing and dancing. She was a hard working woman she loved life and brought positivity in everything she did and shared that with her family. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was kind, strong, and faithful. Her greatest attribute was her devout love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Wanda is survived by her son Gaylord (Butch) Thompson, two sisters Coleen McFadden and husband Paul, Dell Nelson and husband Bill, grandchildren Tara Willeman, Alecia Thompson, Derek Thompson, Eli Thompson, Chelsea Thompson, and Ashley Hamby and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gaylord (Guy) Thompson, and sons Paul Thompson and Gary Thompson. Her parents; and siblings Sonny Dobbins, Mary (Cricket) Pullen and Wilma Monasco.
Pallbearers will be Derek Thompson, Rune Willeman, Ken Willeman, Rick Pyron, Eric Edwards.
