Wesley Wayne Otwell

Wesley graduated from Aldine High School in Houston, Texas, where he met his wife Kathy (Papet) Otwell. He served in the Vietnam War, to return and start a construction company with his brothers. Later in life, he and his wife began Cornerstone Benefits.

Wesley was a fun-loving dad and papa, who enjoyed family vacations and time with his children and grandchildren. Throughout his life, one of his favorite past times was his race cars.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Lee Otwell, his children, Kristi Otwell Malzahn and husband Gus, and Tiffani Otwell Croley; his six granddaughters, two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren; one brother, three brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind multiple extended family memebers and friends who were like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, and brother.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, from 12-1 pm at Edwards Funeral Home, with the funeral service to immediately follow. Graveside will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery at 2pm.
