William "Ted" Brooks

William “Ted” Brooks, 79 of Greenwood, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born May 29, 1941 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Clyde and Victoria Brooks. He formerly owned the Exxon Service Station in Paris, AR. He was a Methodist.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; a daughter, Cena Marie Jeremiah and her husband Rodney, of Paris; a son, William Edward Clyde Brooks of Greenwood; two sisters, Victoria Kay Brooks of Ozark and Susie Koehler and her husband Steve, of Council Bluffs, IA; a brother, Mike Brooks and his wife Nancy, of Council Bluffs, IA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
