William Eugene Johnson

William E. “Bill” Johnson, 72, of Sallisaw, OK, formerly of Amarillo, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011, after suffering a stroke. He was born September 12, 1938 in Amarillo to Clarence and Ollie Pope Johnson. He was a retired Salesman.

No funeral service is planned. Cremation will be under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

He is survived by his wife Kaye, one daughter Holli Pierce and husband Chad of Gravette, AR, one son Allen Johnson and wife Cindy of Sachse, TX, five sisters Marie Holman of Richardson, TX, Wanda Fritts and husband Jerry of Hanford, CA, Irma Cockrell of Amarillo, Muriel Schulte of Dallas, TX and Michelle Rowen and husband Craig of Garland, TX, three brothers Loyd Johnson and wife Mary Frances of Fairfax, VA, Eldon Johnson and wife Clydette of Topeka, KS and Charles Johnson and wife Carol of Houston, TX, Brother-in-law Barney Williams of Amarillo and five grandchildren Specialist Blake Johnson, US Army, of El Paso, TX, Jordan and Brianne Johnson of Sachse, TX and Stormi and Skyler Pierce of Gravette, AR.

We are going to miss him terribly, but we can rest assured that our "Grampy" is resting with his Savior, Yeshua, and has no health problems.
