William L. Litherland, 90, of Hackett, AR, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born on March 22, 1928 in St. Francisville, IL to the late John and Jennie Litherland. He was a retired Industrial Engineer from Whirlpool Corporation. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church in Greenwood, AR.
Besides his parents, a son Robert Litherland preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2018, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
His wife, Charlotte Litherland; daughter, Diane Pitlick of Fort Smith; son, William Litherland of Evansville, IN; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, survives him.
Pall Bearers are Bill Litherland, Tim Pitlick, Tony Pitlick, Jeff Pitlick, Kyle Quenga and Lucas Quenga.
The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
