Woody "Jesse Harold" Woodruff

Woody (Jesse Harold) Woodruff, 66, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born on February 4, 1944 in Van Buren, AR to the late Irvin and Melba Woodruff. He was retired Fork Lift Driver from Whirlpool Corporation, member of the Church of God Seventh Day and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 3, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Rodgers officiating. Burial will be at U.S. National Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

He is survived by one daughter Stacey Henkle of Orange Park, FL, two sisters Linda Carol Wurtz and husband Don of Fort Smith, AR and Connie Fox and husband John of Fayetteville, GA, two brothers Travis Woodruff and wife Geraldine of Fort Smith, AR and Ronnie Woodruff and wife Kim of Van Buren, AR, one granddaughter Faith Henkle Winter and husband Eric of Orange Park, FL, nine nieces, seven nephews, eleven great nieces and eight great nephews.

Pallbearers will be his nephews Billy Wise, Brian Wise, Donald Junior Wurtz, Travis Woodruff, Jr., Michael Woodruff and Jeremy Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be David Ingram, Glen Adams and Ron Adams.

The family will visit with friends Sunday evening, May 2, 2010, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
