Aaron was a 2001 graduate of Carroll High School and Stonybrook University, Long Island, New York.
Aaron was an avid hockey fan and played youth hockey in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Carroll High School, Junior Hockey in Cleveland, Ohio and Long Island, New York. He played college hockey at Stonybrook University, Long Island, New York. He enjoyed doing landscaping and working outdoors.
He is survived by his father Daniel Soper, Auburn; twin sister April Soper, Huntertown; aunt and uncle Dan and Shari Bracht, Fort Wayne; Aunt Betty Craig, Connellsville, PA; niece Ava Guevara, Huntertown; and cousins Donna Ashcroft, Chloe Ashcroft and Jason Ashcroft of Huntertown.
He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Lynne Soper and grandparents Barbara Nadine Soper, Horace O. Soper, Fern Shaw, Ugene Shaw, Aunt Judy Shaw, Uncle Donald Shaw and cousin Douglas Shaw.
A visitation for Aaron will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A visitation will occur Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
