Alberta M. Hine

Alberta Mary (Reust) Hine, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Friday, March 22, 2013. She was born on January 27, 1918 to the late Henry and Catherine (Ness) Reust. She worked at Our Sunday Visitor. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Alder Society, Secular Franciscan Order, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and Am. Legion Post 241. Surviving family include her daughter, Mary Jo Miller; grandchildren, Paul Miller, Sarah (Ricky) Miller all of Fort Wayne; siblings, Bernard Reust, David Reust Thomas Reust, Mark Reust, Harold Reust, Lee Reust, Mary C. Purdy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Paul Hine; siblings, Henry, Edward, Paul and William Reust. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Monday, March 25, 2013 and from 2-4 and 6-8:30 pm on Tuesday March, 26, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church and School.
