Aletha A. Sills

Aletha A. Sills, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Coventry Meadows. She was born April 18, 1943 in Columbia City to the late Carl and Loretta (Armel) Bridegam. She was a graduate of Columbia City High School and worked most of her life caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of Lincolnshire Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her daughters, Debbi (Mike) Carnahan of Roanoke and Patti Sills of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Hope Carnahan and Adrianna Wright; and siblings, Garnett Pettigrew and Marvin (Ellen) Bridegam, both of Columbia City, and Irene (Clifford) Gagnon of Leesburg, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sills in 2016; son, Nathan Paul Sills in 1970; and siblings, Harold Bridegam, Von Bridegam, Thomas Bridegam, Paul Bridegam, and Patricia Gates. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation starting at 3:00 PM.
