Alice A. Grimme

Alice A. Grimme, 88, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was born on November 9, 1933 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Orval and Marie (Biberstein) Alt. Alice was a member of Avalon Missionary Church for over 55 years. She enjoyed gardening and being outside under the sun. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Alice is survived by her sons, David (Jane), Mark (Mary Ann), and Phil (Tonya) Grimme; grandchildren, John, William, Daniel, Gregory, Michael, Cara, Brandon (Whitney), and Matthew (Kaitlin Miller) Grimme; and great-grandchildren, Judah and Natalie Grimme. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Grimme; sisters, Lavera Gillette and Berdella Liechty; and brother, Merlin Alt. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation beginning at 11am. Burial to follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Avalon Missionary church.
