Alice M. Taylor, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. She was born on February 21, 1923, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She worked as a nursery school teacher for 25 years. She was a member of the Peru United Methodist Church and enjoyed golf, bridge, and dancing. Surviving family include her daughters, Abby (Tex) Brooks, Amy (Jeff) Nelp, six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a sister, Virginia Black. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Wayne F. Taylor. A memorial celebration of Alice’s life will be from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Peru Community Schools Fine Art Gallery at Peru High School, 401 N. Broadway, Peru. Memorials may be made to Arts Alive, Peru Community Schools. Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Fort Wayne are handling arrangements.
