Andres Perez Jr, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 11, 1946, in Hale Center Texas, a son of the late Andres and Gladys (Guerrero) Perez Sr. Andres worked in construction for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 414, Amvets Post 33, and American Legion Post 241. Andres enjoyed singing, especially karaoke and was known by most as the irresistible Andy. He also liked to play the accordion, listen to music and have a good time. Andres was the best jokester, always making people laugh. He is survived by his children, Angela (John) Russell, Annette (Tommy) Muldoon, Adalia Perez, Andres (Marta) Perez Jr. II, and Amanda (Stephanee) Perez; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vita Laguna, Lupe Villarreal, and Gloria Gonzalez; and brothers, Louis Perez, Ruben (Elvia) Perez and Antonio (Mary Helen) Perez. Andres was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Perez; sister, Irma Armanza; and brother, Robert Perez. Private services will be held for the immediate family and friends.
