Annette Stewart

Annette worked for the Fort Wayne Community Schools for many years as a Cafeteria Supervisor. Annette was an active member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, where she was a choir member and a member of the "The Craig Singers."

She is survived by her four sons, William (Cynthia) Russell, Gary Stewart, Jerome Russell, and Andrew Upshaw; her daughter, Margaret Stewart-Brownlee; one brother, Lee Andrew Russell and one sister, Rosetta Russell-Thomas; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Nancy Russell, daughter, Nancy Diana Russell-McClendon, brothers, Arthur Russell, Jr., Willie Albert Russell, Joe Earl Russell and Lee Curtis Russell. Sisters, Bernice Russell-Turner, Lillie Mae Russell-Hudson, Bertha May Russell, and Margaret Russell.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Pilgrim Baptist Church 1331 Gay Street (46803) with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery. Complete obituary and memories may be shared at domccombandsons.com

A visitation for Annette will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1331 Gay Street, (46803). A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street (46808).
