Arnold Edward Jarboe

Arnold Edward “Ed” Jarboe, 90, of Crossville, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center. Born in Tell City, Ind., he was a son of the late Arnold and Josephine Jarboe. He retired from City Utilities, engineering department, Fort Wayne. At City Utilities, he played on the golf league, where he became very good. He enjoyed golf into retirement. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. He spent a large amount of time in his life playing on and enjoying the Ohio River at Tell City, Ind., where he grew up. He loved sharing stories about the river with his kids. He is survived by his children, Carole June Cullen, Edward Lee (Karen) Jarboe, Kristine (Rod) Green, John Mathew Jarboe, and Jack Arnold Jarboe; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Daulee R. Jarboe; daughter, Marilyn S. Armstrong; sisters, Laura Ann Richter and Mary Lee Brown; and brother, Harold L. Jarboe. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
