Barbara R. Roy

Barbara R Roy, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Born on November 27, 1949, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Robert R and Vivian C (Martin) Fisher. Barbara worked as a Service Desk Supervisor at Kmart, for over 20 years, until they closed operations in Fort Wayne, then retiring in 2017, from Midwest America FCU, after over 13 years of service as a Teller. She is survived by her daughters, Constance E Burnett, of Fort Wayne, and Tamara K (Arturo) Roy-Villarreal, of Fort Wayne; sister, Linda (Rex) Dailey; brother, Robert R (Dee) Fisher II; and grandchildren, Chelsea and Timothy English. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Monday, December 26, 2022, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
