BARRY WILLIAM SMITH, 60, of Chicago, formerly of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital, Chicago, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lake Twp. He is survived by his father and stepmother, William (Betty) Smith of Dallas Lake, Wolcottville; brother, Allan (Karen) Smith of Muncie; along with several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anna (Bogan) Smith; and brother, Alex G. Smith. Funeral service is 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lake Twp., 7914 W. Cook Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to service at the church. Burial will be in Eel River Cemetery.
