Betty Anna Biggs

Betty Anna Biggs, age 76, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Biggs was born in Howard Lake, MN on May 14, 1945 to the late Reinhold and Dorothy (Elfman) Dietz. Betty was married to James A. Biggs, Sr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. Biggs was a veteran of the United States Navy. She also was an employee at Hospital Laundry Service, Fort Wayne. Betty loved her family and friends, but absolutely adored her grandkids. When Betty wasn’t cooking or baking for her family, she found time to crochet baby blankets. She was also an avid dancer. Betty volunteered at the local Moose, where she often participated in Euchre tournaments. Betty was also a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Survivors include her children, Pamela A. Davis of Fort Wayne; James A. Biggs, Jr. (Juliet Town) of Annandale, MN; Dawn A. Biggs of Sidney, OH; and Tina A. (Ernest, Sr.) White of Fort Wayne. Betty was very blessed to have been part of a large family; she had many brothers and sisters, 21 grandkids and 48 great-grandkids. Betty was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; four sisters and a great-granddaughter, Lilliana Preston. Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m . Rev. Benjamin Ahlersmeyer will officiate the service. Burial with military honors will take place at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Highland Park.
