Betty Jean Dye, age 78 passed away Friday September 25, 2020 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Borden, IN to the late Harvey Jackson and Ruth Hazelwood. Betty was the owner of the Golden Door Bar and Restaurant for over 15 years. Betty loved to cook and tend to her flowers and work in the yard.
She is survived by her children, Clayton E. (Melinda) Albertson of Fort Wayne, IN; Ronnie D. (Pauline) Albertson of Auburn, IN, IN; Wyoma M. (Donald Gater) Feller of Crossville TN, Melissa M Albertson of Fort Wayne, IN, sister Denise Young of Salem, IN; brothers Darryl Jackson of Salem, IN; Mike Jackson of Azle, TX; Kenny Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Dye, daughter Bonnie E. Brown, grandchildren Clayton Albertson Jr, Rebecca Feller, siblings Rosemary Albertson, Marshall Jackson ,Thurston Jackson, Larry Jackson.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Saturday October 3, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Fort Wayne, IN with calling from 11:30 until service time.
