Betty L. Elliott

Betty L. Elliott, 91, passed away March 6, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. She was born October 6, 1931, in Fort Wayne, IN., the daughter of Herbert W. and Betty P. Thieme. She graduated from North Side High School in 1949, and was the past secretary for Phi Beta XI Sorority. Her memberships included St. Paul's Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Ladies Aid Society and St. Paul's Bell Choir. Betty was a Tool and Die operator and Finishing Inspector at ITT, retiring in 1978, after 26 years of service. She also worked part time at Ceruti's Catering for several years.

She willingly opened her heart and home to all who passed through her life. She lived her life by faith and her faith was a true testament to her life. Her life’s journey has ended here but will continue on in the arms of her Heavenly Father forever more.

Betty is survived by her children, Victoria (Lee) Rodenbeck, Robert Elliott, Monica Krauter all of Fort Wayne, IN; Steven (Tina) Elliott of St. Petersburg, FL; sister Joan Badders of New Haven, IN; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Mark Elliott, Rick Elliott, Beverly Williams and a brother, Richard Thieme.

Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Friday March 10, 2023 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday March 9, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, IN.
