Beverly Ann Foster, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home. Born on August 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late George P. and Alma H. (Smith) Tabar. A native of Fort Wayne, Beverly graduated from Central High School in 1958. In her youth, she was a competitive roller skater, and was a member of her high school’s drill team. As an adult, Beverly spent many years doing what she loved, which was being a homemaker and raising her two children. When she did enter the workforce, she worked for Nishikawa Standard in New Haven as a factory worker for 15 years until retirement. When not working, Beverly enjoyed writing letters in her own artistic, amazing handwriting, being a grandmother to her three grandsons, and spending time at home with all of the dogs she owned throughout the years. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Susan Ziherl) Foster; and her grandsons, Lukas, Alexander, and Nicholas Demitsas. Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Tabara Demitsas; and her parents. Friends and family are invited to gather at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 with visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Beverly will be laid to rest privately at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
