Byron Maxfield COLLIER, age 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Byron was born March 10, 1926. Byron was an Army veteran who served in WWII. And was a member of America Legion Post 241. He retired from Lassus Bothers in 1991 after 41 years of service. He is survived by his children, Lynn Collier and Byron Scott Collier, granddaughters Jennifer Flanagan and Melissa Masura, great grandchildren, Annastasia Zepke, Emma Flanagan and Kaylyn Masura. He was preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Carolyn Sue (Deerwester) Collier, his parents, Harry and Myrtle (Barber) Collier, Son, Gregory Collier, five brothers and 2 sisters.
A visitation for Byron will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
