CATHERINE "KATE" (ANKENBRUCK) FOLEY, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Kate was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She ran a successful business in Convoy, Ohio, with her husband of 34 years, Gene, before moving back to Fort Wayne. Kate is survived by her five daughters, Mary Foley and Jackie Foley of Columbus, Ohio; Pat Foley, Molly (Jim) Moffitt, and Martha (Steve) Cebalt, all of Fort Wayne; sister, Elizabeth Meyer of Fort Wayne; sisters-in-law, Helen (Foley Voirol) Ehinger of Anderson, Ind., Katherine Ankenbruck of Fort Wayne and Beatrice Ankenbruck of Marion, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Katie (Brent) Moffitt Egts, Anna Moffitt, Tommy Moffitt, Emily Cebalt, Mary Cebalt, Grace Cebalt, and Charlie Cebalt; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carl and Cecilia Ankenbruck, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene G. Foley, in 1988; brothers, Thomas and Charles Ankenbruck; and sisters, Rita Miller and Mary Trey. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 West State Blvd., Fort Wayne, with calling from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior.
