Christine E. Herring 86 passed away Thursday May 20, 2021 at Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born August 22, 1934 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late John and Jeannette Baggs. Christine was a homemaker and also worked in housekeeping at University Park. She attended Tillman Road Church of God and County line Church of God. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching basketball, Colts Football, Tiger Woods and attending Komet Hockey games. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Stephen) Grady of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Kristy (Louie) Aguirre, great granddaughters, Angeline, Felicia, Kiera, Leila Aguirre and a great great granddaughter, Hartleigh. Christine was preceded in death by her former husband Robert T. Herring in 2011, children Debbie Ferguson, Bobby Herring Jr., Betty Ann Herring, siblings, Bety McAtee, Joanne Vogel, and Don Baggs. Private funeral service will be held at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Fort Wayne, IN. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the SPCA.
