He worked at Stucky Brothers Appliance for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Saint Joe United Methodist Church, he enjoyed watching college sports, NASCAR, and doing puzzles.
Surviving are his children, Audra A. (Rick) Brooks, L. Douglas (Jennifer) Faux, Jon (Melissa) Faux, and Susan (Jeffrey) Bradtmiller; six grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Janice I. Faux; parents, Charles D. and Ruby M. Faux; a brother, Donald L. Faux.
Visitation will be at St. Joe United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Joe United Methodist Church or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
