Clara D. Harris

Clara D. Harris, 71, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Clara worked for GE and Magnavox prior to working at BAE Systems where she worked until her retirement. She was an active member at First Assembly of God, where she was a greeter, funeral dinner coordinator, and helped the elderly. She had a servants heart and touched many lives with her Godly love. Clara was an avid reader. Clara and her husband Robert enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Robert Harris of Fort Wayne; children, James (Carol Foreman) Green, Cynthia (Roger Saylor) Foreman both of Fort Wayne; step-children, David Harris of Alma, KY, Jeffrey (Buffy) Harris of Battle Creek, MI, Robert (Andrea) Harris of Maumee, OH, Tammy (Chris) Harris-Turpin of LA; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Mauricio of Roanoke, Martha (Rick) Ramos-Sweeney of Grabill, and John (Lucy) Rivera of Yoder. Clara was preceded in death by her mother, Felipa Ramos; grandmother, Baleria Lopez; and brothers, David, Paul, and Samuel Ramos. Service is 11:00 am, Monday, January 22, 2018 at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Road with calling from 9:00 am until the service, Rev. Ron Hawkins officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God-Missions Fund.
