Clifford Lee “Cliff” Campbell, Woodburn, IN said goodbye to pain and entered his heavenly home on September 17, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born May 29, 1934 to James & Hazel (Hood) Campbell in Marion, IN, and graduated Marion High School in 1953. Cliff married Nancy Jervis Campbell in 1955.
Cliff worked many years as a welder and fabricator with both metal and wood. He was a shop foreman and helped start Advance Mixer and TET Mixer, with many of his ideas still used today. Cliff’s skills were used in the design and building of front unloading cement trucks. He retired from Fab Weld in 1996. Cliff was a member of Cedar Creek Church of Christ and Maumee Valley Antique Tractor Club. His main interests were antique cars, tractors, trucks, woodworking, gardening and even keeping his flowerbeds weed free this summer.
Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Nancy; sons Mendall (Maggie) Campbell, Harlan; Larry (Laura) Campbell and Joe Campbell, Fort Wayne; Mark (Keziah) Campbell, Woodburn; daughter, Judy (Steve) Frazier, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Cyndi (Howie) Prater, Joni (Guy) Clark, Julie (Paul) Stein, Craig (Mandy) Campbell, Matthew (Kelsey) Frazier, Isaac (Shelby) Frazier, Joshua Campbell, Tom (Jen) Troyer and Heather (Jerimiah) Miller. She also leaves to cherish her memory, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; granddaughter, Amanda (Frazier) Pascute; and sisters Veda McCombs and Willadene Wolfe.
Funeral Service is 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Cedar Creek Church of Christ, 12606 Leo Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Committal and Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Lake James Christian Camp or Woodburn Christian Children’s Home.
