Clifford is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jane A. (Mettler) Kimmel; children, Heather Plemons, and Sara Kimmel, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Olivia Kimmel, Jacob Plemons, and Jenna Plemons; siblings, Loretta (Don) Hauser-Hicks, Marilyn Waikel, Phyllis Kimmel, and Sally (Ted) Sgro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Kimmel Jr., Elaine Crum, Phillip Kimmel, and Steve Kimmel.
A memorial calling to honor Clifford's life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne.
