Colleen Sharon DeVito, of Fort Wayne, went home to be with Our Lord on Friday, February 26, 2021. Born October 20, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary O’Keefe (nee Federspiel). Colleen was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children with a kind heart, loving soul and giving nature. She selflessly put her family and others first and we were truly fortunate to have had her in our lives. Colleen graduated from Central Catholic High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Lincoln Life, Weatherhead, and Sears. Surviving is her loving family: daughters, Cindy McCall and Kathy DeVito; son, Mark DeVito; grandchildren, Will Matravers II, Daniel McKimmie, Aaron McKimmie, Ross McKimmie; sister, Carolyn Holbrook; sisters-in-law Rosie O’Keefe and Sharon O’Keefe; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Rudy DeVito. She was also preceded in death by her sister Pat Jordan (Ron); brothers Don O’Keefe (Jean), Jerry O’Keefe, and Tom O’Keefe; and brother-in-law Mike Holbrook. Arrangements will be made by Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial and a blessing ceremony will be held at a later date in Highland Park Cemetery.
