Dale Otis Ferrier, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. Born October 14, 1936, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Otis G. and Violet L. Ferrier, Dale met his beloved wife, Jane (Bewley), at Youth for Christ in Fort Wayne and married June 14, 1958. He was a devoted husband and father. Dale thoroughly enjoyed time with his family and loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patty "Jane" Ferrier, and their three children, Jeff Ferrier (Melody), Ed Ferrier, (Carrie), and Ruth Lichtenberger (Tom); five grandchildren, Dan Ferrier (Katelyn), Dave Ferrier (Meredith), Kelsey Lichtenberger, Grace Lichtenberger, and Beth Ferrier; and 5 great-grandchildren, Deacon, Elliott, Amelia, Wilder, and Olive. Dale is a graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College, has a Masters degree in Business from Indiana University, and a PhD from Walden University. He is the past president and owner of Indiana Wire Die and Precision Laser Services. Dale was a Master Trainer for the Dale Carnegie organization for over 50 years, and a member of the National Speakers Association. He served on the board of many community organizations including: Youth for Christ, Rotary, Toastmasters, Fort Wayne Bible College, Fort Wayne Christian School, Harvester Church, and Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company. He is a member of Pine Hills Church and a longtime season ticket holder for the Fort Wayne Komets, section 200. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Pine Hills Church, 4704 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also take place from 2:00 to 5:00pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. He will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations in his honor may be directed to Youth for Christ, Pine Hills Church, or the Huntertown Fire Department.
