Born on May 11, 2000, to Jill (Ashcraft) and Patrick Carmody, Daniel was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, and most importantly, father. He touched the lives of many with his humor and warm-heartedness.
Daniel had big ideas and a big personality. He loved telling stories and making others laugh. He enjoyed skateboarding, wakeboarding, wake surfing, and spending time at the lake with his family. Daniel was proud to own his own contracting business and worked the last two years with C3 Construction.
Daniel is survived by his parents, siblings Nikki (Alex) Szewciw and Max Carmody, daughter, Mia Carmody, grandmother, Linda Ashcraft, and nieces Layla, Bennett and Ava Szewciw. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Mary Ann Carmody and Charles Ashcraft.
A gathering to honor Daniel will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, Pine Valley location, with visitation being held from 12:00 - 3:00 pm, rosary service at 3:30 pm, and a funeral at 4:00 pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to an educational fund for his daughter Mia by way of Jill or Pat.
