Danny Dean Simon

Danny Dean Simon, 75 dies Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Kingston Care Center. Born in Mercer, Ohio, he had been a Ft. Wayne resident most of his life. After his retirement in 1988, from Elco Tool Co. as a salesman, he worked part time for Sandpoint Greenhouse and Ft. Wayne Orthopedics. Danny always enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time with friends. He was so appreciative of his adopted family at Kingston Care Center where he had lived the past three years of his life. Preceded in death by his wife Angela, April, 2012, parents; Lester James Simon and Mary Elizabeth Lutz Simon, survived by daughter; Amy Elizabeth (Jim) Keene of Richmond, Indiana and son; Scott of Chelsea, Quebec, Canada, sister; Peggy Hodge of Rockford, Ohio and grandchildren; Alaina and Julia Keene. He served with the army in Germany. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the American Legion. Memorial Services will be held Monday, September 10, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry Street where friends may call 1 hour prior to the services.
