He was born March 25, 1965, in
Wells County, to Robert Paul Byrd
and Loralie (Ford) Byrd.
Darrin had a passion for cooking and turned it into his career.
He attended Norwell High School,
class of 1983. He was junior class
president. He was a movie and
music enthusiast, attending many
concerts. Darrin was “quick-witted”
and liked to joke.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Byrd (Kyle
Mertz) of Bluffton; Quinten Byrd of Bluffton; his brother,
Mark Byrd of Fort Wayne; two nieces and four great-nieces and nephews; and eight grandchildren, Corbyn,
Connor, McKinzie, Annabelle, Natalya, Arya, Odin, and
Alexa.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul
Byrd, and his mother, Loralie(Ford) Byrd. He is loved.
