David Vermont Myers

David Vermont Myers, 90, passed away May 10, 2024, at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born July 24, 1933, in Helmsburg, IN, the son of Cecil and Marjorie Myers. David proudly served in the United States Air Force for 14 years and 6 years with the US Navy. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. David is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha “Sue” Myers of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Karla (David Williamson) Myers, Karen (Terry) Semprini, Susan Desiato, sister Mariette Jones, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by their daughter, Katherine Felheim, and a brother, James Myers. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday May 16, 2024, at Messiah Lutheran Church 7211 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2024, at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery 7361 Spearsville Road, Morgantown, IN. Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
